Scallop Update

Dock sales are scheduled for Saturday pickup at either 12noon or 5pm.

Call 603.343.1500 to reserve your scallops off-the-boat. Pickup at 12noon or 5pm both Saturday and Sunday.

Thanks Helen for the How to Cook Scallops link….pretty much how we recommend and cook our scallops! We would add to dry off the scallops before searing and cook to slightly translucent in the middle as they continue to cook out of the pan. Do not overcook !! (Can’t imagine without fresh lemon or lime juice)

Dock sales update

Now taking orders for next planned dock sales – Saturday March 21st and Sunday March 22nd (weather permitting), pickup at 12noon or 5pm –  603.343.1500. We are happy to add contacts to our special ‘Alert list’ as needed for future dock sales and/or larger orders, through the end of April when we wrap up our scallop fishing.

Scalloping has been steady this year and currently quality/size/texture, etc has been outstanding. We will soon be headed to the Cape late April for squid fishing. Before we head south, we highly recommend at this time to stock your freezers with RimrackFish scallops for a constant supply of these sea jewels that freeze fantastically well!! Our scallops are premium best of the best, from where we fish, to shucking and quality care to you. The ‘merrior’ of our current catches this time of year can not be any more superb! Our Merrior defined as  a unique sense of place relevant to oceans environment that contribute to a distinctive taste.

March Scallop Update

Scalloping has been steady this year and currently quality/size/texture, etc has been outstanding. We will soon be headed to the Cape late April for squid fishing. Before we head south, we highly recommend at this time to stock your freezers with our local scallops for a constant supply of these sea jewels. Rimrack scallops are the best of the best…..Shucked with care, cleaned with pride and kissed by the sea! The point is, that last year after returning from squidding (mid July), we weren’t able to resume scallop fishing until Dec15th. As it is with fishing, there are no guarantees, so plan ahead accordingly.Now and the next few weeks are the perfect time to freeze and load the freezers, not to mention the superb quality of the scallops at this time!  In addition to checking the website (rimrackfish.com) or facebook (rimrack fish) for dock sales and updates, we have an Alert List that we use to notify you, for standing orders and dock sales by calling 603.343.1500   Please forward this to family and friends if you think they might be interested in getting fresh… Continue reading
